The design

Radcliffe Camera is one of Oxford’s most photographed buildings.

Here’s some interesting notes:

  1. Locals and students affectionately call it “Rad Cam”.
  2. It sits in Radcliffe Square, right in the historic centre, surrounded by the Bodleian Libraries, St Mary’s Church, and many colleges.
  3. Its circular rotunda, topped with a dome, makes it one of Oxford’s most distinctive architectures.
  4. Built in the 1700s using Sir John Radcliffe's donation, it remains a working library today.

Original hand-drawn illustration of the Radcliffe Camera viewed from the garden of Exeter College, Oxford by artist Angel Shen, created exclusively for Potatote.

The postcard

The original art work printed on a beautiful textured, off-white paper, with a traditional postcard design on the back.
