We're recruiting 5-6 Oxford Passport Founding Ambassadors!

We're looking for passionate Oxford explorers to help us review the current programme and shape the future of Oxford Passport.

This is a paid opportunity to explore Oxford, share your discoveries and help build something special.

We're building a new way to discover Oxford.

Our vision is to make Oxford Passport the most trusted independent guide to Oxford experiences, curated by people who genuinely know and love the city.

Think of it as a modern, community-powered Michelin Guide, but for all kinds of Oxford experiences, not just restaurants.

Each season, we'll select a small number of exceptional experiences, from local favourites to hidden gems, based on quality, distinctive Oxford story and affordability.

Our Founding Ambassadors will help shape the programme and decide which experiences deserve a place on the list.
Explore current programme

What You'll Do

Explore. Recommend. Shape the future.

As a Founding Ambassador, you'll join our first editorial community and help us build a guide that locals and visitors can trust.

1. Explore and evaluate Oxford experiences

Visit at least 4 experiences from the current Oxford Passport programme, share your honest feedback and create authentic photo or video content.

2. Help design the next season

Join our editorial discussions, suggest improvements and help develop the recommendations for Season 2.

What We Offer

Get paid to explore Oxford and help build something special.

  • An overall £200 package for your assigned visits, evaluations and Season 2 workshops. 
  • Reimbursements for approved expenses.
  • Additional bonus opportunities for helping promote Oxford Passport.
  • A chance to make a real impact on how people discover Oxford.
  • A community of fellow Oxford lovers who share your passion for exploring the city.
  • This is a part-time job with flexible hours that easily fit in your schedule. The average time commitment is ~1h / week.

Who we're looking for

You could be a student, a working professional or a local resident.

We're looking for people who:

  • Have lived in Oxford for at least a year, are still based here and visit the city centre at least once a week for at least another year.
  • Love exploring Oxford's restaurants, cafés, museums, cultural events and hidden gems.
  • Enjoy sharing their local knowledge and recommendations.
  • Care about building a trustworthy, independent guide to Oxford.
  • Are happy to create Instagram-ready content, either for their own account or for Potatote to share.

We’re not looking for large Instagram following or professional content experience. Genuine enthusiasm, curiosity and a love for Oxford matter most!
