The design

The Bridge of Sighs holds a special place in Oxford student life, as it witnesses two of the most important ceremonies of their studies.

Every October and July, students walk past this bridge in sub fusc and gowns for:

  • Matriculation - when new students formally join the University.
  • Degree ceremonies - when students receive their degrees.

This bridge is a symbol of university life and Oxford’s academic tradition.

  • Machine wash on a cool cycle (30°C or below)
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Iron on medium heat
  • A little shrinkage (2-3cm) on the first wash is normal for natural cotton

Special service: College Weekly Delivery - £1.5.

  • We offer a weekly batch delivery to participating Oxford colleges’ porter’s lodge. Check with your JCR/MCR/GCR whether your college is qualified.
  • Delivery is made every Thursday.
  • Cutoff time: 10pm on Tuesday. Orders placed after 10pm on Tuesday will be delivered the following Thursday.
Return

Returns are accepted within 30 days for unused items in their original condition. A £3.95 return shipping fee applies unless the item is damaged or incorrect. Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after we receive your return. See more details here.
